Black Competition Wheels- E92 M3

I just ordered my E92 M3 for a Euro delivery and I was wondering if the black competition wheels is an option that can be requested from BMW...or is that something that is plasti-dipped or powder coated after the fact?

Pretty sure you can get the GTS wheels direct from BMW as I believe they can be ordered as accessories.

You can also get them here: http://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-43...nuine-bmw.aspx

Mine were already on at the dealer. Powder coated I think.

You can request black wheels, grill, gills, and exhaust tips at ED.

Turner Motor Sport

I plan on getting these black GTS wheels at Turner Motor Sport. Does anyone know if they will negotiate or discount their listed prices? I know I can get the Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 for at least $300 less at tirerack.

For whats its worth I was going to get the black GTS wheels, but then I decided to spend $80 and get my wheels professionally plasti-dipped and they look AMAZING..See picture here:

Also I have it on for 45 days at this point, washed them, power washed them, brake dust has been on them, no cracking, no damage, people ask me all the time where I got them powder coated. Something to consider.

Yes, they look very nice. I am also thinking about getting my brake calipers painted red rather than spend all that money on Brembo.

The M badges on your wheels are covered up... should be easy to get the plastidip off with an Xacto knife.

Still running Zoll plates all around?

Ya I had them covered up on purpose, prefer the all black look and just the roundel showing. And yes, still have the Zoll german tags on front and back.. I have had MULTIPLE highway patrol, local cops, sheriffs, etc all ride directly behind me and no one has pulled me. The cars looks SO RIGHT and natural with the foreign tags, that I believe the cops think I am a foreign dignitary or someone of some what importance...because who would just so brazenly and boldy rock a German tag in USA.

I found Turner's pricing on the wheels to be fair. Do what I did... get the wheels from there, tires elsewhere, and have them mounted at your favorite tire shop.

Try here as well. They seem to have some of the best pricing on GTS wheels.
