BMW e90 325i Front Brake Pad Sensor Reset

I own a 2006 e90 325i

About 6 months ago I had my front and rear discs and pads changed by my local garage, I later realised that the brake pad sensors weren't changed after a warning error appeared recently. A car on a lift appeared where the gears normally showed for a few seconds after turning the car on the light indicating the handbrake was still on was illuminated at all times. I googled the warning lights I saw and I ordered a non genuine front brake disc sensor from eBay as I thought this would solve the issue. I received the sensor today and swapped the old sensor for the new one and the error is worse now. There is an ABS light as well as the traction control light together with what looks like the handbrake light are all illuminated on the cluster. I have attempted to reset the brake within the CBS menu but when I do the ---- remains after attempting to reset, I have tried this multiple times. How do I fix this error? I am looking to upgrade the car soon and I need the error gone before I attempt to sell the car as it will hurt my chances of a quick sale. Can I fix this myself? Or will I need to pay a visit to BMW or a specialist? I have attached a few pictures showing the cluster.
