Is this true??????

According to what the pictures say's, my 1995 M50 is an M50TUB25. WTF

I tought i had the m50b25 never knew that there is an M50 with out vanos.

Both of my E34s have bee 92 models without the vanos. My E36 had the vanos. My E36 did definitely feel quicker and it likely was, but not only for the vanos, but for the lower weight. Still, I could feel the difference with the vanos

the TU is almost always dropped both on this and the M52

TU stands for the german words for Technical Update, which as it happens has the same initials in english.

TU in a M50 = vanos
TU in a M52 = double vanos
