Another New Guy Picture Post

Hey guys,

I've been here for 2 months or so now and enjoyed all the cool pictures, advice and trolls. I decided to finally wash/wax the 328i today since we're not going to see rain here in Atlanta all week.

It's a 2009 328i. Pretty much stock. I added LineX yellow film to the foglights (some people hate this, but I always loved the way yellow tinted fog lights looked), Dinan strut bar I got for cheap on here and a M style rear spoiler lip. Oh, yeah - I also shaved the rear, I hate emblems.

It has the M sport package? (I believe that's what it's called) and I have some decent plans such as: performance exhaust/intake MAYBE break upgrade and maybe some anti sway bars - I like more sporty suspension than pure power, thus my lacking a 33x.

Anyways, pictures below. Comments, suggestions, flames all welcomed.

I hope these pictures load, I'm hotlinking via FB.

Congrats Josh, the photos look great. I love the 'Y' spoke wheels. Enjoy the ride!

Looks good & clean but no M-sport here maybe just sport pack. Big cosmetic diff. Good luck with the ride

That's one thing that tripped me up about my purchase of an E92...the M sport aspect. It does come with the M Sport Suspension...not the M sport package. The E92 comes standard with that and HID headlights. I don't think/know if the M sport suspension has any visible differences from a non M sport suspension car. Maybe the ride height is a little lower?

Either way, it was included in the base price of the car, so whether or not I wanted it, it was part of the deal in getting a coupe.

Beautiful car! I purchased my E92 a couple of months ago and need to get around to taking some pics of it.

Enjoy!

*Shrugs* Ditto - me too, the dealer showed me it as a selling point and I was like "Meh, I'd upgrade it anyways".

When I run the vin it does show sports suspension package - but I'm still new to the BMW world, so I'm learning as I go.

I can't battle the thought in my head to upgrade the wheels to something polished black. Maybe it's the ricer in the youth of my day saying that.

PS. I'm still the newbie idiot who started to cuss at the car for the gas cover not opening when the car was locked. Clever, clever. It's nice.

My vote is for the current wheels. What size are the rims? If you choose to go with black i will gladly purchase those.

I am not a fan of the black wheels, but I am old. I just ordered the 313's to put on my car.

I do like the wheels you already have. IMHO, black doesn't give enough contrast to the body and wheels where they are noticed. And if they are not noticed, what's the point? My opinion, anyway.

The only one you need to make happy is you, so go for what you like best.

Great looking car. No flame suit necessary.

Style 197 on the OP's car are 18". They were the standard wheel for E92 328i with ZSP.

Thanks for the feedback, guys!

Yeah, I like the wheels, too - I was thinking a matching black set for when I feel a little bit more evil.

Shrugs. After pricing it out, it's a pipe dream for now - I cannot justify the money.

You have great looking wheels. Painting them black or purchasing black is an massive downgrade in looks.
