Mein Auto: Not worth mentioning
Hmm, option code 416 says "Power rear sunshade with rear manual side window shades". How's that supposed to work on the GT?

Did the European version of the pre-LCI have paddle shifters?

I saw that as well. Hopefully it's not a copy/paste error from the F10 and a product of the redesigned back end. It strikes me that the 2014 F07 is less of a car for more money.

From what I've been told by my local dealer, no 5 GT has had paddle shifters, on any continent, until the '14 MY LCI. The 7 series didn't either, upon which the 5GT is actually based. Both get paddle shifter options (or included in packages) as part of the '14 MY refresh. I'm guessing this had something to do with an underlying change to the 7-series platform, since it's only now showing up in both cars. When I ordered my '11 GT I tried to have paddle shifters added by my BMW service department (which you could do for the 5 sedan) and was told definitively and repeatedly it was not possible on the GT because it was not possible on the 7.

FWIW, you may find them to be a bit of a novelty. I used them consistently on my M5 but mostly because the SMG transmission in auto mode was so awful. I used them sporadically on my 650i convertible after that. I almost didn't order the GT because they weren't an option, but I can't say I've missed them much. (I will be getting them on my '14 GT, having said all that...

Well if indeed the LCI GT will get paddle shifter, then that's awesome.

I used the paddle 95% of the time in my 550 and before that SMG 530 and I dearly missed it in my current X5d. I want my next car to have it

If the LCI GT has it, I'll be in line to place an order.

File upload is working today. I found this compare useful to see the rear end changes.

The dashboard is the next question. The BMW video showed the 6WB dash but there is no mention of what dash is in the F07 order guide for 2014 or 2013.

While they specifically mention in the PR that the cupholders were fixed in the sedan and station wagon, they are not in the GT. Paddle shifters are now available. The trunk reportedly closes hands free but no confirmation that feature will be enabled in the US. Many 2013 exterior colors are gone. Nappa Cinnamon is gone and you can only get it on the base model. Gray interior is gone across the board replaced with white.
Nice work. It's a very minor refresh IMO.

White interior on a true Touring car? Really? I thought the intent was to be lugging stuff on holiday, no?

I find the Ivory designs effeminate. It's as if there's a girl color and a boy color.

Configuring a 2014 GT feels like a cost cut commodity instead of a luxury car. Oddly, the M-Sport has the most choice (Black, Beige, White, Mocha).

FYI.. according to some information from my CA:
Handsfree tailgate closing is included in 2014 Comfort Access Package
There are no silver colors for the F07. Titanium was deleted and Glacier Silver is not offered for the F07.
The F07 gets the deeper cup holders (this conflicts with the PR).
