Mein Auto: BMW X5 3.0d 2003
Rough idle (shakes) still blowing smoke

X5 e53 3.0d (160k on clock) replaced PCV, breather valve, air filter, oil, filter, replaced 6 glow plugs.

Took the car for a 2k5 drive since no improvement if anthing gone worst.

Car blows smoke ( white) 1st 10 seconds regardless of engine cond (warm - cold) and associated intermittent rough idle (shakes) at idle with gear on D.

Smokes appears when car has been driven atleast 2 kilometers then restart.

No airleaks detected on any hoses.

Hanging on to the car by a thread.

Please help my car from being put down

Hi mate,

Have you checked your valve covers? Those symptoms sound like the Valve/Rocker cover gaskets are leaking.. Very common with our cars.

Check for any oil leaking around them..
