You can check your water temperature while you're driving by pulling up the hidden menu. It requires you to unlock a screen to read it.

Here's how (doing this from memory so bear with me):

With the engine running, hold down the trip reset button for about 10 seconds until a menu appears in speedometer, then release. Now press the trip reset repeatedly until you step through the menu to Unlock (I think it's #19). Now hold down the trip reset until a new menu appears in the tach. Your unlock code is the last 5 numbers of your VIN added together (so if the numbers are 12345, your code would be 15). Push the trip reset repeatedly until it counts up to your code and release. Then hold down the trip reset until it takes you back to the menu in the speedometer. Press the trip reset until you get to Sensor Data (#7). Hold that down until the menu appears on the tach.

Water Temperature should be the top one in the list

Hope this helps. And it takes much longer to type this than it takes to do it

Glad to help. One of the many things learned right here on the fest!. Hang around, participate, and you'll learn a lot from your fellow 7 owners! Then help someone
