2006 x3 hood release help

My wifes 2006 x3 decided it wanted to go into rock mode. The battery is dead and then key won't open then door. Is there anyway to pop the hood so I can get power to it. Or do I have to get it towed somehow to the dealership.

Try another key

Well that presents a problem. Got another key you can try?

Maybe try to hold the key fully turned in the lock while you attempt to pull the door handle?

I had my doors apart last weekend with the battery out of the car and the driver's door lock does not act like the locking mechanisms on the other 3 doors. It is hard to describe, but the driver's door lock button/shaft would not stay in the locked or unlocked position like the other doors.
