Bluetooth Audio on Idrive

I recently for a E90, 2010 with a production date of Oct 2009. It has IDrive. I am not able to stream bluetooth audio from my iphone onto it.

I did some research and it seems we have to activate Bluetooth Audio option but I dont see that option on my IDrive. Any Ideas?

I may be wrong, but in order to do so, I believe you need the COMBOX controller, which became available on September 2010 builds forward.

Correct (in the USA, in Europe is from 03/10).

yup, blackberry audio bridge is a nice cheap option - for 70 bucks, just plugs into the armrest USB and audio jacks and gives you streaming bluetooth audio.

Are you able to pair the phone to iDrive and to the audio bridge at the same time? I would like to keep the phone connected to the car while it streams music to the audio bridge.

Sincerely,
Frederic
