So I need to let them loose with at least an hour's labor to verify all is good on that front? Or determine where the issue is, at least, if it's a bad module. My concern is that electrical diagnosing can be a bottomless pit on time. What can I check on my own before turning them loose at $135/hr??

Is there anything else I can check on my own before going back to the dealer? Where is the module located? Can an indy hook it up and see what's going on with the module, or is that dealer-only? I have a friend who's an indy and has the computer to hook up - I took him the car when I bought it to scan it and check things out, and it came back with the history of previous work, nothing major - but does the voice command diagnosing take special software indy's can't get?
