HELP - 4x4 Light after Transfer Case Gear replacement

Hello,
Nothing was wrong with my car prior, I changed my transfer case gear now the 4x4 light is on and it seems car is not driving right due to transfer case. Any idea what it could be? Did I install the sensor that controls the gear screw back on wrong?

Edit: Found the problem, follow up original thread:

Why

If nothing was wrong prior, why did you mess with the tcase gear?

You need something to go "wrong" to work on a car? Maybe thats why my wife and kids have never been stranded due to a dead battery.

My general operating model when it comes to cars:
Reasonably priced preventative maintenance is preferred over unexpected events that can make getting home difficult

$125 falls into the "reasonably priced" bucket.

Did you put the screw in backwards?

Well-

You could just drop in a new t-case as preventative maintenance. Exactly what is the failure rate on these gears? Keep in mind on these forums you typically only hear about the small handful of failures. For every issue such as this gear there are multiples of owners who have not and never will experience this issue. Something you might keep in mind next time you get a hankering to tinker around with something that ain't broke.
