2008 335i A/C Issue

Dear Bimmerfest community,
first post here, I recently acquired a 2008 BMW 335i (black, twin-turbo, you know the deal) and to my dismay, the air-conditioning is sporadic, and even while on full blast you cannot feel it save for brief spurts of air. I'm probably calling the dealership tomorrow to get the low-down for sure, but has anybody had this problem before? And if so, how much does it cost to fix/ is it fixable on my own? Thanks!

A Sunday jest - how could anyone present a solution w/o knowing where the problem lies?

1st step: Codes, laddie....ECU codes.

Cal, that's not what they want to here on the forum every time big guy.

Here is what they want...yes, I have had that same problem with my car and it ended up being the blower motor regulator. A $25 part that was replaced (and may be under warranty still for yours) after digging behind the passenger side dash.

Fixed it all for me.

I had mine go out and replaced the blower motor this weekend. Very easy project (about 15 mins) and have my A/C working air again. Made a video in case anyone else has this problem:
