Active Restraint Malfunction.....Help.

so i went in to change my cabin filters......i unplugged the air bag and now im getting a "Active....seatbelt airbag error"..... i assume the reason it went off was because i unplugged it an prob shouldn't have without some tool. Is there anyway i can reset this myself or will it eventually go off by itself with several restarts..

It can also be cleared using Toolset32 and an ENET Cable, but OP would have to have them in his possession or know someone with them.

Why not have warranty work completed by dealer -- avoids messy situations. Did you follow any BMW written procedure?
