Brakes and Rotors

I recently purchased a 2011, f10 535. I noticed a slight vibration when braking. My service center says the previous owner put cheap brakes and Rotors on and now the Rotors are warped.

Service says replacing fronts are $656 and replacing the back are $583 (over $1200).

Any references for a GREAT aftermarket set of Rotors and brake pads that you guys recommend that won't break the bank?

get the original BMW rotors and pads online from the link below
I keep hearing problems with aftermarket parts so I usually stick with oem brakes (no squeaking, clicking, 'warping')

if you are ok with OEM, Zimmermann rotors are OEM and the pagid / textar / ate pads

stick to OEM. all german OEM stuff is very good quality.

the price they are offering you is fairly reasonable. I would check to make sure the rear rotor and pads are still OK and change only the fronts, since only the fronts are likely warped.

most likely they are not cheap front brakes, but just a really stupid and aggressive previous owner that warped the front rotors from driving like an idiot.

good luck
