Recommended Maintenance Schedule?

So, BMW's recommended maintenance (under warranty/their coverage) seems to be 2 years/15k miles or when something breaks.

I want to be more pro-active, so was wondering if you guys have recommendations?

Contact Mike Miller for a long term owner's maintenance schedule.

From my experience after almost 3 years, it is based on mileage and time. If you have maintenance and one year passes before you reach the next mileage mark, maintenance is required based on the one year. In each case, the car sends a message to your designated service dealer, the dealer calls you to make an appointment. When you start the car there is a notice above the steering column when the next maintenance is due in miles and time.

Join the BMWCCA if you haven't already. Email Mike Miller (they guy who does the tech talk column in the club magazine Roundel). He'll send you his suggestions on keeping a BMW running long term.
