2011 335i vs. 2010 335i

A nearby dealer has 2011 335i M-sport MT for sale. Someone here said that the suspension on the 2011 E90s was modified to reduce the choppiness. Is this true?

No-one really knows; anecdotal reports say the new versions of the RFTs plus some slight bushing tweaks make for a better ride. Hard to tell; my 2010 sedan rides about the same as my son's 2007 coupe.

The biggest diff between 335 2010 and 2011 is engine, N54 (real twin turbos) vs N55 (twin-scroll turbos) respectively.
N54 clearly more tuneable and higher potential.

I had a 2007 335i sport package MT and I currently have a 2011 335i M-sport MT and there is NO discernable difference in the ride or handling.

I had 2008 335xi since new and now have 2011 335i (also since new). I know it's almost like apple to oranges comparison because of the xi vs i but I can tell you that there is a definite improvement of the run flat tires for 2011.
My 08 was sport, manual but with 17" turanzas and 11 is m-sport, manual with 18" michelins. Ride quality is night and day. I actually really like the tires and have zero intentions switching to non-rft. I got 30K out of my first set of michelin pilot super sports and I think this is just excellent for soft sport summer tires. Ride quality is phenomenal. As for N54 vs. N55 I think unless you're gonna do some crazy tuning there is more benefits of having N55 as it is smoother, quieter and more fuel efficient (not by much). I did a OEM BMW Performance tune and it's very nice and safe upgrade that keeps you within the warranty with mild performance gain.
As this is my Daily Driver - it's more that enough power for me. Even for occasional track day you'd be amazed with the performance.
Another big plus for 11 vs 10 is the combox (if you get an iDrive of course)
