side mirror maintanence - question
The driver and passenger side mirrors of our bimmers have those neat little buttons that allow for position adjustment. I know the whole thing is driven by some kind of metal cable or something..
anyway, on my '97 328 I can tell that after 5 years of age, the mirros are beginning to groan when I attempt to adjust. There must be some sort of preventative maintanence on these to keep the movement smooth. The ones on my MZ3 still operate flawlessly, but I wonder what they will be like in a few years. Any experts out there?
