The F15 is absolutely stunning. The E70 pales in comparison.

Thanks for the comparison, Alan.

I think the E70 looks very bulky compared to the F15 now. The E70 look outdated after seeing the F15 in all these images. Can't wait to actually see it in person.

Nice comparison! Was waiting to see more pictures of MSport. Looks much better than base model. I see where you found this (http://www.bmw.com/com/en/newvehicle...isualizer.html)

Fyi, you can click on the little download icon to download higher resolution pictures..

EDIT: There is a bug in the download icon -- it downloads non MSport photos instead :-/

It is starting to grow on me now, I was like when I first saw the official pics yesterday, now it doesn't look that bad.

They look NOTHING alike. Not one feature besides they both have lights, wheels and has paint on its body.

i just don't see any value by combining the grill with lights. not sure, why they wanted to copy this style in every car they make.

I think they overhauled a lot of the aesthetics while still maintaining the overall "feel" of an X5

The new front of the X5 M-Sport is hideous. The large openings on the lower right and lower left are awful in the opinion of this architect.

T he F32 has similar bumper openings/shape. It seems to be a major part of the latest design language. I think it's one of those things we will quickly get used to an embrace. Quicker than the E60's "Dame Edna" face which keeps that car looking modern even today. No doubt that the E70 has a more balanced design though. The F15 has some oversized elements that will take some time to get used to.

What are those hideous black fins doing on the rear of the X5? More hideous design.

I think it looks good, except they made a mess of the rear. It looks like an X3. The tailights are out of proportion to the vehicle size.

I like it. Very helpful comparison. Granted, the front of the 5 looks a bit exaggerated, but I think it's cool overall.

i think it looks a little durango-ish. I still like it...especially the new interior.

I don't know, is not bad, but competitors are knocking the door with new trends and lines, for a typical BMW 6 years model life span, I think BMW will need several LCI's on this model to keep it desirable. Interior is nice but exterior I think is too much conservative.
