Question Swap '05 330i & 330CiC ZHP aluminum cube trim for myrtle wood.

I'm about to order an '05 330i & 330CiC both with ZHP, but I want to swap the aluminum (or black) cube trim from both for the myrtle wood trim out of a "new" 3 series . . . anyone interested?

It would be preferable if the swap took place at the Santa Barbara or other Southern Ca dealership.

Also, if anyone is interested in a NEW '05 3 series to buy or order (to facilitate the swap), I'm sure I can arrange for you to get it at $1000 over invoice along with my cars!!

PS: If anyone has done this, please let me know if there is a down side I'm unfamiliar with.

Thanks in advance!

I thought the ZHP's could be ordered with wood starting in the '04 MY? Why go to the trouble of switching?

This can be done at the factory. No need for dealer switch.

Why go to the trouble of switching? Because both cars are going to women who believe the wood is "warmer", an assessment with which I agree.

EVERY dealer in So. Cal. so far has said NO. I'd love nothing more than to keep the service tech's hands off the new car!

Please let me know your source for your info . . .

Thanks . . .
