How to disconnect Hazard and Door lock switches?

Hey folks,

I am changing the wood veneer trim on my center console because the old trim piece has warped. Does anyone know how to disconnect the electrical connectors for the Hazard and Door Lock switches?

In the pertinent photo, the connector for the Door Lock switch is white and fairly easy to see. The Hazard switch connector is black and not easy to make out in the photo. They are both of the same design.

Looking at the connectors, I couldn't tell what needs to be done to unlock the connector. I tried to wiggle, pull, and move from side to side with no luck. I tried inserting a tiny screwdriver between the male and female pieces to see if I could undo a locking tab, but no-go.

Anybody know how these darn connectors come apart?

They both just pull out. Don't use any special tools.

Got a chance to work on the car last night. By applying a bit more force, I was able to get the connectors off and complete the job. The electrical connector for the Hazard switch has a little bump on the male connection that locks the connector in and so I slipped a very small screwdriver between the male and female connectors to allow the male connector to slide out. This little bump is easy to make out when you examine the connector. Thank you pudl and E34-F10 for your replies.
