Not sure I should even bother responding to this, but what's your problem? Not getting the answers you want? Perhaps you aren't asking the right questions, or not providing enough information for anyone to be able to diagnose the issues?

From my experience this forum has a number of very experienced BMW E38 DIYers who are happy to share their accumulated experience and wisdom.

However the brevity of your post leaves me pondering whether it was just meant to be a pithy and insightful critique, or someone slapped the phone from your hand before you could complete what you were trying to say.

Re: Joke

Podmore. Sometimes people help others are a joke and have no clue what they are saying at all. That's why I said it. If you don't know don't comment.

If we don't know why you are complaining that someone's response is a joke, it gets a bit hard to help you. I doubt that anyone on this forum is deliberately trying to give you wrong information although occasionally you'll find that they maybe haven't understood the question properly, and can head off on a tangent.

What I would say to you is you can help us to help you if you provide as much information about your particular problem as you can, and don't get p'ed off if we come back with more questions to be able to provide a proper and accurate diagnosis.

I am more than happy to lend the knowledge I have gained over 40-plus years of working on cars, and more recently on E38s, to assist forum users to solve their problems. I don't expect attitude in response.
