I haven't played WoW in years. I really do miss it, I imagine something akin to a recovering heroine addict missing heroine. When I played I was in the top guild for my server. I was in a friends and family guild, and you didn't have to raid, but if you signed up then you were committed to the three nights a week. We typically had slow start (not first to beat, but ended being one of the few guilds that survived...that guild is still active today and started back in the very beginning). I was also typically the top damage dealer....which as you know means it was a second job playing that game (moment i got home until midnight/1am on a daily basis)....heroine

Which server were you on?

I'm on Blackrock - Horde (FTW)

HAHA! I completely agree with you on that part. It really grabs you and takes you in! I play with my wife so we have our two characters that are just in a random guild and usually do random raid finder for our fix of raids.

They've really made the game easier than what it used to be. Random dungeon finder, random raid finder, pet battles (WTF). But its still Blizzard's cash cow so they'll milk it for however long they can do it.

I've heard rumors about TITAN being the new project, its already started but was scrapped and they "went back to the drawing" board. That is unfortunate as the initial rumors for what TITAN was going to be were incredibly catching and interesting. Not sure what was behind that call...

Boulderfist. Back in the day we used to have a saying "You've been Boulderfisted"...when the server would go down while trying to collect loot from a 40 man raid. Those were fun days.

Growing up on a PVP server we were very annoyed when they let people transfer to our server...if you had the growing pains of being on PVP server you didn't want someone who didn't suffer coming over.

I do miss the pre-BC days of having to play 20 hours a day if you wanted to get to grand marshall. I helped my friend get to Marshal. I only made Commander...but that is a cool title I forget the name of the battle grounds, but that MASSIVE one. YOu could go into it in the morning, play for a bit, log out, and come back in later that day and the same game would still be going on. Them putting a timer on that was a good idea.

In an effort of making the game easier, they also took away some of the fun.

Human Warlock
followed up with a Gnomish Rogue. My friend and I would sit, hiding in blackrock mountain. When raids would come by to go fight we would pick one target and back stab and kill him. Then would do the gnomish laugh and gnomish train, disappear and hide. They would search for us. When our cooldown timers reset we would do it again, and again. Screwing up a 40 man raid for 30-60 minutes was always fun. Even more fun as some of the horde members who recognized us from the forums would just sit there waving while their guild-mates would get killed :0

Fun times...many fun fun hours....

12.

Also, with it's biofuel tech, it averages about 100 miles per fill-up and produces re-useable fuel!

This is a fun weekend in NH. Driving around, meeting fellow festers, and raising money for a good cause.

Great new addition to the event.

Team O'Neil Rally School in Dalton, NH has invited us to stop by on Sunday to visit the school and go for "hot laps" with the instructors.

Taking pictures of my dog and all of a sudden this is what I see through my viewfinder. Needless to say, the seagull and I made eye contact. It was awkward.

Did you hold the eye contact for more than 3 seconds? Did you take multiple photos? Did you trade phone numbers?

Cute dog!

But Wait! There's More!

We just added a one day Skip Barber/Mazda driving school voucher (good for any Skip Barber location) to the Climb to the Clouds Five auction.

Details will be posted shortly on the web site at:

A true OT thread would not need to be stickied. The E36 one gets enough attention to always be on the first page.

What's great about this place is that if you don't want to wait to get a table and sit inside, they have a to-go area where you can order your food at this little shack right next door and get your food there and take off.
They have a few tables but not much and also a few benches, but again not many...and they also have these big rocks you can sit on right on the beach behind this place.
I don't eat clam chowder that much but from my experiences when I have had it the one from here is pretty darn tootin good!!!
We also ordered the corn fritters and those were also really good! I could only imagine if I had ordered a meal, how good would it have been.
I want to go back and experience more menu choices!!

You are forgetting a couple of key ingredients in your message

1) Community. The E36 is a very old car (1990 to 1999). That forum has been around for a while and has an established community. The F3x is a new car, with a small community that is growing. Most of the people here have yet to actually realize this is a place they can come to and talk about things other than how to buy a car, xenon or not, what color should they pic, and is ED awesome. Once that is learned then the thread will get more usage.

2) The e3x community has talked about all their issues, ad-nausea. I am willing to bet pretty much every thread starts with "I have this problem"...first reply "search button is your friend". The f3x community is still new and learning what these issues are. The f3x community still has many new and on topic posts to make, while the e3x is a bunch of old men who are reminded of their "yester-year" days. The forum needs to make sure you guys are kept in check and relegated to the old folks him, err I mean, OT thread

Also, your statement is not necessarily true. The e9x forum stickied their OT thread and it gets tons of usage. 3748 replies since it started on 4/6/2011). Then again, I have heard that the e9x forum is the black-sheep of the bimmerfest community. Somewhere along the lines of other mods being jealous of that community and annoyed with the communities anarchist views. I'm hoping to bring some of that anarchy here
