Sweet Mother of Manny, Moe and Jack, that's a lot of peel-and-stick bling.

Gotta give the guy credit for the roundels blocking the fog lights, though. Clearly he knows to use them only in fog and figures there is so rarely a need, might as well cover 'em up!

Wonder if they work like the Batman bat-sign light projector? So when he turns on the fog lights does it send out a beam of the BMW roundel? Now that would be cool!

In days of old, goats were often kept on sailing ships as "compact" source of fresh milk and meat.

Along with the octopus, goat pupils are rectangular. Goats are thought to have excellent night vision and can often be found browsing at night.

Goat should not be kept alone. They are herd animals and prefer the company of at least one other goat. Goats will also readily accept animals of other species as companions including horses and cattle.

Goats have no upper front teeth. Instead they have a hard "gum pad" in the place of upper front teeth.

Man of Steel movie was epic! Gonna see it again this weekend. This is not your Christopher Reeves superman at all.

Agreed...although I probably won't see it a second time until it's on StreamPix or something. My only minor gripe is that the new Lois Lane isn't quite up to par with the Smallville Lana.

True, as hot as Amy Adams is, Lana is hotter. But if they decide to follow suit, Lana will come out in Man of Steel 2.

How do you compare Smallville Louis to Man of Steel Louis? Ignore the fact that she had her in some STUPID scenes, I am just talking looks

Did you see it in 3d?

That would be a toss up...I'll be more than happy to adjust the side bolsters of my passenger seat to fit either one. What threw me off a bit was seeing a blonde Lois Lane.

I did. I liked the fact that the 3D-ness wasn't too in your face, it wasn't distracting.

I'd like to see Kevin Spacey come back as Lex Luthor...or they could go nuts and use Jack Black.

Agreed, for me it's a toss-up, but I'd make room for all 3 The Smallville Lana Lang got a bit silly towards the end (how she became a super powered superhero). I think Louis lane, in Smallville was more of a favorite for me. Definitely more toned.

Recently just saw Hansel and Gretel. I had 3d and 2d version. Switched to the 2d because they did annoying thing (e.g., the lantern they were holding was in your face, and just distracting).
At some point the 3d in Man of Steel flowed in and I noticed it only when necessary

Did you notice the Lexcorp truck? You know Man of Steel 2 will involve old Lexie - though he is gonna hafta be some ruthless bad-ass. Definitely will have to beat this man of steel with his brains.

Atlanta wants to tie police pay raises to traffic ticket violations. Per the governor this will not increase ticket rates. Obviously, because what person wouldn't want to improve their chances of getting more money.

Talk about creating and legalizing corruption.

That's an irrelevant argument. The moment you tie pay raises to something like this you will get a cop who will ticket you for going 1 mile over the limit (you know when passing the guy in front of you who is going slow, this is common). You will get cops who lie.

It's corruption that will occur.

It is worse than corruption...revenue generation for the city/county/state is one thing but with this, each individual cop is, in effect, getting a commission, we're all fair game: driving too fast for conditions, unsafe lane change, tail gating, too much tint, no front plate, douche attitude, etc.

Then there will be the sheeple who would be all for it...it makes them feel so good when the government keeps them safe. Just like the colossal waste of a joke that is the TSA at airports.....

Towards the end of the movie, the fight scene with the gas truck. It's brief, about a second or less

Agreed. The worst are the ones where the cop "guesstimates" how fast you are going. In many places cops can give you a ticket based on their "expert opinion". Also, if the device is off by a couple of miles. One thing I liked about Switzerland, if you are going 5 KM over the speed limit then you get no ticket, but over 5 and you get a ticket. Their reasoning is that the radar detector margin of error is never over 5KM (not sure if it is or is not, but that is their logic)

On a side note, I always choose the "frisk and fly". They like to state that the radiation is the same dosage of someone flying...however, that is the same dosage in an instant, not over the course of a plane ride...timing matters. Then depending on who you talk to they say there is no radiation (contradictory). Then there are the machines they recently removed. Then someone told me "it's just like radio waves, not radiation" at which point I replied, "Microwaves, x-grays, gamma waves, delta waves...they are all just like radio waves, and they will all kill you".

I take the frisk and fly, and depending on my mood will either laugh it up with the guy or make them uncomfortable...typically laugh. I usually gauge them "don't you have someone hotter who can do this? maybe a hot red head, double d's, with loose morals, and a penchant for drinking lots of alcohol" Some get it and some are too dense...the latter then gets my other side.

In other words - if it's harmless, then i have been groped by many men. If it's not harmless then i'll be living healthy while everyone else has cancer (I am a business traveler so fly a lot).

Yes, I too would opt out each time. Until last year, I used to fly at least once a week...this year has been depressing seeing my US Platinum (+ Star Gold) go to dirt along with my HHonors Diamond and even my WN A-List and CP. Now I dread whenever my next domestic flight would be...not being able to go through the elite line, no lounge access and zero chance of upgrade...boarding late and stuck in the back.

At least for international, I can still use my miles and fly J/C on a cool carrier like OZ or SQ.

LOL I am in the same boat. Last year platinum (still have it this year). Last year flew over 90 segments. This year, well, yea..... I won't even make silver Somehow I managed to keep Platinum Marriott, and for some reason SPG gave me gold until 2015. Starting Jan, my domestic flights are gonna suck..between no more free bag check ins, having to wait in long lines...life will suck.

Since Start gold doesn't offer any kind of upgrades, the nice part of platinum for international 1) first class check in, 2) 3 free bags that are first class tagged, and 3) bypassing the security line (in some airpots) which can save as much as an hour!

It is weird to not look forward to those "Your upgrade has been confirmed!" emails in the morning. People think I'm nuts when I tell them I miss flying...but that's mainly due to the fact that I'm single and for frequent flyers, the air travel experience is much more pleasant.

I got more of a rush using the elite lane to the TSA clowns and boarding early to take my seat up front than I do gracefully gliding my BMW into a parking spot in front of a group of admiring hellahawts.

For many years, I was on Flyertalk and last year when the travel dried up, I decided to finally get a new car and ended up here.

Of course, I will always consider this the greatest movie ever made:

I got more of a rush using the elite lane to the TSA clowns and boarding early to take my seat up front than I do gracefully gliding my BMW into a parking spot in front of a group of admiring hellahawts.

For many years, I was on Flyertalk and last year when the travel dried up, I decided to finally get a new car and ended up here.

Of course, I will always consider this the greatest movie ever made:
I loved that movie. People who don't travel do not realize this, but bus travelers really do count their miles, points, and use the correct cards for the correct places (I have SPG card, and US Airways card). Typically we don't get paid overtime for travels, can't bill the client for waking up at 4AM to catch the plane so we can make the clients 8AM meeting, etc. Our only rewards are the fact that we get tons of miles so when we go on vacation we get to take them for free (or reduced price). Also, getting upgraded, is important. When your office is a plane, being comfy is a necessity.
