SOS Flashing Green Light

335i...Driving home tonight, I noticed a flashing green LED above on my sunroof control module. It is actually on the SOS cover. Is this just a reminder for something where I should just push the SOS switch nd find out (I know, it's probably in my owners manual but the car is outside and I had to post something)?

That flashes when BMW is recording you while driving, then they share it with the federal government - it is a secret, so don't tell anyone unless you want to flee to Hong Kong!

But seriously, I have only seen mine flash if I push the button - I would just push it and ask them why it is flashing!

Re: SOS Flashing Green Light

Alright. Not to worry yet. I figured it out. Had to get a new phone. The green light is the bluetooth connecting and disconnecting. Doesn't play well with a Samsung. Thanks for the tip on the radio Cal as that is what got me to check my phone connection.

You must have turned on Disco Mode by playing the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack.

Play some death metal. That should reset the system.

Re: SOS Flashing Green Light

No. Bluetooth on and flashing, connecting and disconnecting bluetooth and phonebook. I did some Droid Forum searches and found that turning off PBAB Request in "Running Services" would fix thr issue. I checked but do not have that service with my new phone. But, it did have a "Bluetooth Services" running. So, I stopped that service and BANG! Problem resolved and now my whole phonebook displays, not just my contacts. Ahhh...
