Passenger seat

My passenger seat will not go up or back. It will go up and down. I am trying to get the seat out but it is on the back bolts and I can't get it to go forward to expose the screws. Any suggestions

I had that once happen and there was a small coin stuck in one of the tracks. Try working it back and forth to free it up and make sure there are no obstructions. You may need a pick-up tool and an extension mirror to check for small objects thay may be in the tracks. You mave also have a switch problem, you could substitute the drivers switch to the passenger side to confirm it.
