I agree, they blew this design, especially from the front.Looks way to much like the F30 from the front.
They should have just copied the 6 series in a smaller size,it would have looked awesome.
At least we can still look forward to the 2 series, which will be a much better drivers car anyway and looks great.

Actually, we don't know specifically what the 2 Series will look like.

Saw this tidbit over at caranddriver.com. Sounds like good news for prospective 4-series owners. I'll be looking forward to reviews from people who've driven both the 3- and 4-series.

Beginning with the parameters and components of the 3-series, the chassis of the 4-series has been significantly reworked, BMW says, for added agility. The center of gravity is lower than on any other BMW today, the front section of the car has been stiffened, and the steering and front suspension has been tweaked to generate significantly more direct responses to steering input, as BMW says—a tacit admission that there was room to improve upon the steering of the 3-series.

Yea, I thought it looked like a slight mesh between a G37, Honda Accord and Nissan Altima coupe.

Yea, looking at the interior, there don't seem to be any. Do you think they will include them for US models?

I think all the photos we have seen were the European and Australian releases. Pretty sure we will have the same as the current F30.

The cup holders are right here, circled in red, in front of the gear shift control. There's a removable cover to hide them when you're not using them.

Mein Auto: M235i. When it comes out.
Like the six series, I bet it will look twice as good in person. Love the slope of the front. Anyone here of an is yet? M sport with tune and exhaust and this car will be extremely satisfying.

Ah right. Thanks. I remember those woven things in the concept now. Although, if you want to use them you have to find a place to put that cover?

There's a place in the glove box specifically for the cover. It's an elastic cargo net on the top.

It just seems like an odd extra step every time you want to use them. I assume I'll probably just leave the thing out and the cup holders open all the time. I can still put my phone in them. Maybe I should look at it as "BMW provides you a cover if you don't want your cup holders open". See, that way its a positive.

I don't allow drinks in my car, so I use that and tell people I didn't get the cup holders as an option.

+1. I haven't allowed eating or drinking in our cars for quite some time. I don't even like my wife doing her makeup but I don't push that for fear of significant repercussions I feel that when driving a modern vehicle especially where I live (ridiculously congested) you should be concentrating on the road not on your Starbucks, texting, emails, lunch, etc etc. the Europeans have it correct in that regard!

This is good very good advice.
Something to think about. I think the two step process for the juice holders
is an honest idea.
