Shocks question

Is it ok not to change OEM shocks if u lowered the car? 328xi 2011.

As Cal correctly states. The xDrive shocks are different than the sport package shocks (or the non-sport shocks): the valving is in different places due to the lower ride height. Leaving the OEM xDrive shocks in place will wear them faster, and also result in a mushy or too-stiff ride because of that fact.
