E30 (1982 - 1993)
God's Chariot. The E30 was produced primarily from 1982 through 1991. The cabriolet was the one exception which was produced through 1993.

Price guess on a repaint

Any idea on how much it would cost to repaint a 87 is air dam. Blue to red, color matching.. the works.

Just the air dam? You install or they do? ~$300 for a first-class job with you installing it. Add another $100+ for them to install it....although I was told by my body shop owner neighbor that any job involving a spray gun these days is $500 minimum. He should know. He's been at it for 40 years.

Depends a lot on location, too. Some areas the rates are lower.

I'd be installing, and man that much? Alright. Thanks for a general idea of what to expect. Appreciate it!

To give you a comparison point, a good quality full respray starts at about $3000, and that's just for the work to go back to the same color. A friend of mine who has WAY, WAY more money than I do just had his '90 M3 resprayed to Diamond Black Metallic. Just the paint job was $16,000.
