Installed my Angel Eyes - I like

(Oh no another angel eyes thread)....

Been reading about angel eyes upgrades for a while so I caved in to join the masses....Got them in the mail today and installed them myself...Took about 2 hrs....Installed them together with new H11 Foglights (Sylvania ZXE)....

Just want to point if anyone else intends on installing their own angel eyes....

I installed them without removing the wheel and jacking the care up.....Also I did not have to entirely remove the inner fender skirt either....

I am by no means a technical/mechanic guy and I am not a Hobbit either....Dont have tiny arms.....It was at sometimes a to do but done it is....I attached some pics.....As always these pics never do it justice...I used flash too so it may have 'burned' the lights....

Looks good! Where did you get them from? Cost? I'm looking to change my angel eyes to something like a 10000K HID

Looks good. Glad to hear the install wasn't too painful

Re: Installed my Angel Eyes - I like

I emailed unmitza and they said I have to cut my headlights in order to change my angel eyes. I have a 2009 335i sedan. Is this true? And it doesn't look like they have much selection for my e90 anyway. Other than the multi colored angel eyes for an e92 that they said would fit as long as I cut my headlights open. Thanks

Mr. Fletch,
You have to cut your lights if you want the Orion V2 or Orion V4.

If you want a drop in kit for your lights, they look horrible due to the design of your headlights in 2009 with the H8 bulb.

Some people have done it however:

Just when I think I have a brand figured out, someone posts pics with a different brand and they look great like yours! Then I start the process over again. Oh, the humanity!

ordered mine, can't wait to put them in, that dull yellowish look dates the cars.

Hey everyone - I have a 2011 328i and I want a basic blue/white color for all front lights including that ring light. Currently I have the boring yellow lights. Please someone, can you tell me precisely which lights and where to buy? If possible, please include links too!

Thank you beam-buds!

I open permasealed E9x and E6x housings and it is not fun, nor easy to do. Stick with the PnP bulbs if you have never opened a set of headlights before. You don't want to be messing around with $1200 housings.

I installed the lux h8 v4 angel eye upgrade. Set to 10000k. Too bright at night to take a pic from further back.

Installed my Angel Eyes - I like

Hi everyone, new to the whole forum world..
Just a quick question.. Is it just the bulbs you would have to change out to have the Angel Eye upgrade? Or is there a kit? I own a 06' 325i.. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Just wanna get rid of the yellowish lights outdates the car.

Did you have halogen before? What kind of bulbs did you replace them with?

E92-Lighting, what angel eye bulbs would you recommend for a non xenon vehicle and how would they be installed? Thanks!
