M355 Avant Garde wheels and tyres

Hi all,

first post after periodic lurking - I swapped factory 17s to aftermarket 19s and couldn't be happier

After tedious decision-making process, I decided to finally go for the 19'' Avant Garde M355 wheels (like the ones on F10 M5, but different size).

The wheels are 8.5 * 19 front and 9 * 19 rear and tyres are 235/35/19 and 255/30/19 respectively.

The car is driving beautifully and the looks !!!

Highly recommend these wheels - the look is very fresh and sporty!

Here are some iphone pictures for your attention.

...though they do make the brake discs (rotors) look tiny!

Nice! I'm very particular about wheels but those are sharp. Thanks for the pics!

Afterthought:

Post an update in a few weeks after you've adapted to 19s. Interested in your follow-up on how they ride. The biggest negative I've read about larger wheels is the ride gets more harsh. Best of luck!

Looks nice. One of the nice things about them is that they look fairly close to the OEM wheels. That's one of the things I went for with my car. I wanted to snazzy it up a but, but still keep it kinda stock looking.

Will do! So far the ride has been very similar and I am very surprised - when I swapped 18s and 19s on the croc things were very different, but going 17s to 19s on the bimmer seems to make almost no difference whatsoever in town. Gotta watch out for those curbs though, as getting on and getting off them has become slower

Exactly what I was going for - actually, they are the same as installed on current M5 and M6 - I could not spot a difference when compared two very closely (other than the size, of course)
