bad DME

well i figured out why my cars not starting - relays are good - fuel pumps good everythings good

when i turn the key to ignition on pos. the normal check engine light does not flash at all. have done alot of reading on here and other places and have discoverd the DME took a poop now the EWS is already by passed

the old dme is out i opened it up just to check it out theres some condensation on the back side of the board and you can just see a lil bit of cracking on some of the solder joints also i discovered inside the dme the guy i bought the vehicle from put in a Turner Motorsports chip 4131-0000 now i have googled that part number and i have come up with nothing

now my question is should i go with a silver lable dme or a red one 413 of course i plan on ordering tonight because my local scrap yard has told me $100 if i pull it my self and i know i can probley save a few bucks going online or if someone on the form has a known good working on and wants to let it go at a fair price ?

let me know your thoughts

Thanks

Why not reflow the solder joints on your old ECU and see if that fixes it? Costs zero dollars, and you already have it apart.
