Fuel door lock - How to replace Fuel Door Latch with Buffer

Hello,

I have a 2006 E90 330i. I've noticed the last couple times when filling up, the fuel door sometimes sticks and does open when I push it in to get access to the gas cap. I've been searching through the threads and it seems to point to a faulty part: Fuel Door Latch with Buffer (part #51178228939). Does anyone know how to replace this part? From the photo, it looks like there are screws. Maybe its as simple as prying off the old part with some pliers and replacing it with the new one. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Thanks so much.

Turns out the latch was a little bent. It has to be aligned perfectly or else it doesn't work and the locking actuator gets doesn't function. The part is actually really cheap an pulls right off when you access the gas door. Swapping the part did the trick.
