Snap in adapter for the 2014 35i

My 2014 X3 is on order and I am conserding the Iphone 5 now will that fit in the snap in adapter in the armrest or not and if it does not will I still be able to use the apps (facebook, Pandora) thanks..

There is no iPhone 5 adapter available, and no definite date as to when one will be available. Assuming that you have the proper options in your BMW, you can use the apps that you mentioned by using an Apple USB cable connected to the USB port in the center armrest. You won't (and may never, even with a USB cable) be able to do video out from the iPhone 5.

It's about the same with current and previous iphone models, what they have in common is that you could stream music from Pandora or regular music app, call and sync your phonebook through Bluetooth~
