2005 X3

I am looking to replace my MB ML430 with an MY2005 X3 3.0. Looking for pricing and cost info.
Also, the local dealer is asking for $1000 + accessory price for the towing option. This sounds excessive (My ML came from the factory with the tow package option and no installation cost). Any feedback on either issue?

Check on Sept. 1. No one knows until at least then, per BMWNA. Expect a 3% increase in base prices, but some features will be standard that weren't on the 04 model (like Aero, possibly sun roof, maybe more...?)
