Cooling fan issues

My car stalled in a flash flood we had in italy, didn't try to start it until it was removed from the water. The car started after three tries and pushed all the water from the exhaust. I didn't see any signs of water in the engine block cylinders/pistons when I removed the plugs. I replaced the air filter which had soaken up some water and the radiator which had a hair pin leak around the top water hose connection.

The problem I'm having now is the the electrical cooling fan between the radiator and the engine not coming on. I'm getting power to the male end connector but the fan isn't switching on. I might have to replace the fan but before doing that are they any other suggestion???

Thanks.
