my Cocomat samples

What's yer opinion? I asked Drew if asking for four samples was too much, and he responded by sending me five. He has been quite pleasurable to deal with over emails. I haven't got back to him, as I've been too busy with my fluid maintenance challenge to even really study the patterns. He did think that orange goes perfectly with Saddle Brown. He believed that taupe was a good match as well, if a bit more muted. The fifth sample he decided for me was the natural. The black is sisal (which I may have liked best on a computer screen, but my preference for the texture isn't as pronounced with the samples in person), and the one I was really curious about was the blue. Blue with saddle? You see all of my window tint is Air Blue, and it really matches the paint, and I believe that blues work really nicely with the aluminum and and to some extent the headliner as well. I'm feebly trying to see if I could capture that in the last photo.

Orange, natural, blue, taupe, sisal. There are some stray strands that come off the samples as you can see, but the finished mats won't do that. The videos at the site are pretty informative, and because the event is so rare, I'm actually excited to buy an American made product, assuming I go ahead and choose these.

Cocomat colors in same order. Yes there was a spot on the leather, I don't know what it was, it got removed...

Blue?

The blue dot looks really good with your car ..... it will be more subtle down on the floor.

Ok, at least I know I might not be crazy. Good point about the subtlety down there. You've also raised an observation that I had in the back of my mind, and you've brought it to the forefront: I wonder if certain colors have the larger sized dots as a default like with the left two, or if there is any chance involved. I think I prefer the smaller dots.

Thanks for taking the time, Rob!

I almost hate to ask, but if you're ever cruising around with the top down, and stop somewhere when there's still daylight out, I would love to see a couple of pics in natural light. Only when it is most convenient, and that you even remember, if not no worries, thanks again...
