Own a 07 Touareg V10 Diesel - Love it, came from a Range Rover. Love the Range Rover looks but the torque/power of the V10 is incredible. Today, only the V6 diesel version is available in the US or V6 FSI. Europe gets the V8 twin turbo diesel which is what I really want.

Having said all this, if I could only purchase in the US I'd get the new Range Rover. If buying used then look and drive to compare.

www.ClubTouareg.com is the best forum.

My dad has a 2007 V10 and had the first year release V8 prior. He will not part with the V10 and says he wants it to be his last car......
I have driven both many times and moved him out of an american car for the first time due to his love for the touareg after first test drive.
I think its a best in class and would be my top choice for an SUV, they look sharp with the LED
