Question OT: The 'Scents of a 7 Owner'...

So without knowing all of you guys personally (except a few here who I communicate with) I am sure we all share in many similar vices/hobbies/likes. One for me is appearance which includes smelling good. I'm married with kids now so it's not THAT serious. But my wife certainly appreciates me "keeping myself together" still after a decade of marriage.
That being said... What fragrances do you wear?
Here's my stock:

But this stuff right here fellas... On a whole nother level: CREED Virgian Island Water

....dude, this board is going metro now. This can't be leading anywhere manly and tie it into cars. By the way, I was at a Focus Group last week, and they were testing fragrances among the 7, A8, LS460, MBZ S class.

Bro... Call me metro. pretty boy, etc. I have always taken care of myself and have been VERY rewarded for doing so from all sorts of lovely ladies over the years (shhhhh!)
Absolutely nothing wrong with a sharp dressed, fine smelling, in shape well groomed dude.

If I were not married... I would STILL be on a "smashing rampage" like back in the day.

Yeaaa buddy, I still use that Hugo Boss now and then. I think I've been using it since the 8th grade haha.

I had no idea what to expect when first reading this thread title. I thought it was going to be something about the smell of nappa leather being absorbed onto one's clothing after a long day in traffic. "What's up girl, you like that 7 series scent? Yea I thought so"

Over 15 years...Thierry Mugler Angel. It is how everyone knows when I am coming, and when I have been there.

Once in a while, I stray and use Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille. It is CRAZY $$$$$$, but the smell is totally amazing. But usually, I stick with Angel. Angel is for sure a love it or hate it scent (patchouli, sandalwood, vanilla, chocolate), but it's awesome (to me, and works great with my chemistry).

I actually wore that @ 8-9 yrs ago and after the bottle was finished, I decided that was enough. It is powerful and unmistakable.

Anything surpassing $100 for 3.4oz is a tad overkill. My Creed cost $160. That is a special occasion fragrance. It is very unique and long lasting. Creed in general are among the finest colognes made.

The Tom Ford Vanille is about $500, but the bottle is HUGE, and you just use this special, little plastic dropper and you fill your own, smaller bottle/atomizer as needed.

Angel is much less, and equally if not more powerful

Perfumes & Colognes give me migraines.

Besides, all car guys have seen the movie "Christine", so we know only one thing smells sweeter than a new car....

Im always looking for good colognes. I just ordered some trial samples of Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille and a full bottle Tom Ford Grey Vetiver Cologne. Thanks for the tip. I'll let you know how I like them.

Off topic: I found a pic of a Glacial Silver 7 that finally makes me happy that its the color I ordered. Got it from the www.7post.com site. 1.5 months before my car gets here. Wait is killing me. Hopefully this picture is a true representation of Glacial Silver because I love it.

Where'd you go to order the trial sample?

And the glacier silver (a bad a** name for a cologne BTW) is a sick color...!

Whatever my wife buys me. Currently, I am running with Bleu De Chanel. Smells good to me. Guess I'm a pretty simple man when it comes to cologne's

I ordered from Amazon..yep, I know their colognes can be sketchy but Im hoping the smell gives me some idea..if I like it I will order the actual bottle from a better site.

Glad you like the color..its the first picture I could find that really showed the true color of the car. And yes, that is an awesome name for a cologne!
