Auto Transmission Jerking badly

Hi there....

I am new to this forum and i think they are peoples here who can help me resolving my problems or at least giving me a bigger picture of what is happening with my car transmission...
I own 2006 bmw e90 320i.. And the problem is with the transmission(auto).. The problem starts when my car start jerking when i drove the car.. At first, i thought it because of the bad spark plug causing bad fuel burning... But it soon clear to me , that the problem is the transmission as i did got error signal ( red gear symbol with exclamation) which disappear every restart.....Right now i dont want to drive the car as transmission jerking happens even at P position also in Neutral position not to mention D & R Position... I tried to drive the car forward and backward just to test the jerking which also happens... CAN SOMEBODY HERE ENLIGHTENS ME what is the problems?

A major problem is that codes have not been read, so you don't know which way to go.

However, won't hurt at all to drop the tranny solenoids and clean 'er out. Reinstall or, while out, do a rebuild.

'Course, could be an engine issue. How would your know? Read codes, or start r&r'g blind.

USA delaers won't work on transmissions, a bizarre and very expensive approach. Transmissions ain't myterious - start searching YouTube and you'll see what I mean.

Oh, and that red annunciation is a problem. Don't drive it.

Find an independent shop and have it towed for an inspection; this doesn't appear to be something you can self diagnose, or use the internet-doctor to help.
