Thumbs up Daytime running lights replacement query

So I've received the error message that my right drl has gone out. Amidst looking into replacing the bulbs for this I've come across something that looks like 2 different housing units for the drl bulbs. I'm looking to purchasing some gp thunder h8 35w bulbs to replace these bulbs but the housing units confuse me. Attached are pictures of the 2, first is the passenger side (right, featured with my finger) and 2nd is the driver side (left).
I had thought this would be a simple bulb replacement but this is throwing quite the curveball.

EDIT: The car is a 2008 335i coupe with iDrive. Sorry if I seem a bit unknowledgable about forum rules and etiquette. This is my first BMW which I purchased June 8, 2013.

We need to know the details of the car you own. Sedans and coupes and different years use different bulbs.

Yeah so it looks like there are 2 different lighting fixtures. The driver side is the original while the other appears to be an aftermarket LED. No clue as to why the previous owner installed one but not the other. Anyone know of a place to purchase the original manufacturer housing unit for the passenger side?

Wowwwwwww just realized my error in this. Just order the gp thunder v2 bulbs. For some reason I though it came just as the glass bulb and not the female plug unit too with the orange band. Case closed, verdict: me being blind.
