stereo upgrade for 2011 335i

Any suggestions on stereo upgrade for 2011 335i sedan? OEM Alpine vs, Bavariansoundwerks vs. others? I have the standard OEM system and my ears are crying.
Thank you

You need to verify which system you have the base stereo system or the L7 system first(or Hi Fi).
If you have the base stereo system it doesn't have and amp and has a terrible eq curve that
must be compensated for or removed . You can't do much for that system without and aftermarket amp and/or processor or eq compensating device.

Buy a MusicarNW kit not inexpensive but the best all in one solution.

DIY solutions
If you have the base system (Just upgrading the speakers may make it worse)
1)reprogram for Hi Fi output, Technic harness , aftermarket amp such as a JL 600/6 upgrade the front speakers .
2) Get a frequency flattening device , processor or processor amp such as a Jl cleansweep and amp, ms-8 or Zapco amp.processor , Technic Harness , and upgrade front speakers.

Be sure and identify your system first . It could be base or Hi Fi if its 2011.
