$30 for angel lights!? Hmmmm

So I need new low beam bulbs and angel lights for my 2002 745Li, I see alot of post about mtec 3 and umnitza angel lights that range anywhere between $100 to $250 but I'm wondering what's wrong with these

http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewi...d=161057108306

Or this.

http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewi...d=310697157212

Prob not as bright as the name brands but for the price I can deal with it, save money and buy something else for my ride...thoughts?

I found some 5 10 & 25W...the 25W run about $100 but isn't that to much wattage?? I don't wanna overheat it neither. Seems like 25W is a bit to much...

Isn't 25w each light is 12.5w each that's a good set ...MTEC3 is 12w each Umnitza is 10w each

Ahhh I see. That makes more sense but 12w seems still a bit high..dont need a 3rd headlight lol stock is pushing around 3w if I'm not mistaken...mtec seems to be the popular choice around here and everyone I look, might get the mtec 2 I believe that one pushes 4W

Lol you dont get the point.
Those are the brand names yes, but comparing a 12w led lighting a fibre optic ring to a second headlight is a bit over dramatic. They all do the same thing, the higher wattage ones are just more visible in daylight. Depends on your personal preference. Some people buy the cheaper ones because all they want is the color difference. Some people want to see it in bright sun light. Also its not the leds that get hot, really its the built in or wired in resistors that give off tremendous amounts of heat.

Lol yea I was being a little sarcastic comparing them to a headlight. Thanks for the explanation on the wattage tho. I have both angel lights out and my left headlight bulb. So I need something ASAP, I also want to get something that matches ( white with a little blue ) I'm assuming that's like a 6000k ?

If your bulb is stock in the head lights, replace both low beams. Best bulbs i have ever seen are the cool blue intense they're like 5000k in color and the light output itself is great. Stock iirc is 4300k in color. But if you only replace one side, chances are the old one will look different in color than the new one even if its a new bulb of the same brand. As far as bulb colors (angel eyes low beams and fog lights) they always imo; look best if they match. so whatever color temp you get, try to match it all. if you don't have hids in your fogs thats another thing to consider, but if not NBD.
Also if blue is what you're after iirc blue ranges from past 5000k to around 10000k. 6000k is acceptable, too blue i think is meh.

Our ICE VXX is 15W.
But dont' get hung on the wattages, they make ultimately very little difference in the grand scheme of things.

You'll see ebay adverts for 25W or 50W etc. it's all nonsense since the most important thing is the driver and heat sink on these LED.

Give our ICE VXX a look, we're offering free shipping on all angel eyes this week.

MTEC V3's are definitely the brightest plug and play angel eyes for pre lci E65's .

Well the brightest drop in kit is the ICE VXX <-- the newest ones.

The ICE V6 is the same output as the Mtech units out there (made in the same facility) but the ICE VXX is significantly brighter as a drop in. And it's less expensive too!

however, the Orion V2 will blow all those out of the water Much nicer.
We can probably do some sort of an agreement with you!

i agree to much blue is not really my thing and i do plan to replace both low beams at the same time, might as well. i'll be going for the 6000K, wheres a good place to buy some for a reasonable price? i've heard members buy D2s bulb's for like $20 for the pair without no problem. any truth to this?

I want to do the guide with steps and all required tools and post pictures at day and night!!
So Umnitza whats the agreement? I'm interested!!

You can find cheap bulbs on eBay, but thats a gamble because there is also a chance that its cheap for a reason (burnout fast or lower light output) i think most of the higher end bulbs are 4300k or 5000k so i dont know what you will be able to find. I have never had the misfortune of having an hid bulb blow on me yet.

Just saw your website...I know mtech v3 are better then the 2.0, newer , brighter, etc....but I like the price on the 2.0s ( just being honest ). Overall the 2.0 are still better the the Stock yellow angel lights right? They still put out a good amount of light that I can see during the day?

People aren't dumb When you pay $30 for those bulbs, they don't have the proper drivers, heat sinks or components for long life and often the company is gone after they've sold them to you.

We have recently lowered our price on the VXX for this holiday week, so you can now get the VXX which is the brightest drop in available for $139.99 shipped!

for the Orion V2, please email us.
