I have a 2008 135i vert that I purchased three years ago CPO. Last week, I was having issues with my left blinker light. I tried replacing the bulb myself and that didn't work. So I brought the car into the local dealer. After looking at it, I was told that the entire headlight assemby needed to be replaced because the headlight was not installed correctly following what the service advisor said was clearly body work to the front side. It corroded because of the improper installation. The only catch...I have never had body work on the front of the vehicle, so it must have happened prior to my purchase and another BMW dealership had CPOed it despite the damage. Do I have any recourse to recover the $1800 I was charged to replace the headlight assembly? Do I go to BMW North America?
