How many BMWs have you owned?

I tend to keep cars forever so i had a 78 320i (E21) I bought back in 1982 and I still have my 95 325i (E36).

I don't mind all this technology in these new models, but despise run flats. Horrible ride, super expensive to replace. When was i ever truly stuck that i didn't have a spare?

2, A 1983 e28 528 i manual with recaro seats and sport suspension.
3, A 1987 e30 325i manual.
4, A 1985 e30 320i.
5, A 1993 e34 535i manual.
6, A 1986 e24 635 csi auto, I still own this car.
7 A 1995 e38 730i auto, I still own this car.

Owned a total of 4... currently own 2

1995 525i - Still own 250k miles
1987 528e - Still own 197k miles
2005 X3 3.0 - Lease gave it back (hated it)

I'm on my third.

While not new to BMW and used the Bimmerfest boards for info, just joined while waiting for my new X1!

My new X1 which I took possession of just two hours ago is my third BMW but my first SAV. I've been a 3 series gal starting with a model year 2000 blue 323 then my 2006 red 325.

I blame my need to drive BMW's on my husband whose mantra is..."it's your car, get what you like". Between the driving experience, the sales experience and the service experience, I have a hard time when I attempt to look at other brands!

One so far 1993 325is and loving it most likely sticking to BMW for the rest of my life maybe next bmw either e30 or e36 m3
