i just bought a set of style 197 bmw rims that are 18' around. the thing is that on my car the factory rims are 17 inches, I was wondering if anybody knew what kind of tires I should get for the 18 inches: the specs and everything would be upmost help. thank you

Your terminology needs correcting: "... 18" around..." is what you say when you mean CIRCUMFERENCE. 18" is the DIAMETER of the wheel, not circumference.

Go to tirerack.com: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tirete....jsp?techid=46 and read the article which explains how to read the specifications.

Also, http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tirete...currentpage=35 might be useful for you.

Then, use the tirerack to find tires for your new 18" diameter wheels. You can just specify the car you have, then click on "18" where it says alternate sizes.
