Mein Auto: 525d Auto
e39 525d auto: humming/vibrating in reverse, plus spongy brakes

When i put my bmw in reverse a loud humming niise/vibration in the body of the car is felt. It is almost as if a mounting for something is loose or broken and part of the engine or drivetrain is touching the body. It doesn't happen in Drive. Any suggestions?

also the brake pedal can be depressed nearly all the way to the floor, I've bled the brakes and replaced the fluid, no leaks, no loss of fluid. No hoses seem to be losing structure/expanding. It may not be related, but its been parked up a while and the abs, brake pressure and brake wear indicators remain lit and yellow. These lights weren't on when it was parked but are now. It hasn't been driven since being put in storage. I wondered if it needs code reader plugging in
