X1 E84 (2011 - current)
The new to the US BMW X1 will arrive at BMW dealers in the fall of 2012 as a 2013 model year. Get your X1 28i with either sDrive (RWD) or xDrive (AWD) or get the US exclusive I6 N55 powered X1 35i dDrive.

Interior lighting

Has anyone change their stock interior lighting to LED bulbs ?? if so, what brand of bulbs did you use and the vendors url address if you got it. I am interested in doing this switch....

Yes, order the LED upgrade interior light package from a local BMW dealer and install them my self. They look great. The lights give the car a great look and feel with the cool crisp white light. Check out these pics!Click image for larger version

I don't understand the white light. I prefer the more comfortable traditional lighting..

The original lights get very hot, the led are a much cooler temperature in the long run. Everyone is different but I love the look. That's why it is a option. Your option,

Order them from a dealer, they come in a led light kit of 10 bulbs or you can go to aftermarket with these guys but I got mine from a dealer. Click image for larger version

Enjoy, the interior LED lights will match the outside lights under your door handles and head lights if you got the light pkg.
