Dinan F01 / Anyone here ?

Found this on YouTube , nice looking F01 . IMO just needs to remove those cheap A$$ Caliper covers, Remove the tail lights and head lights chrome rings and black out the Front Grill .

I don't know about nice looking...but somebody needs a Go Pro cam.
What's with the flea-bay caliper covers and chrome on tail-lights?

Guess he likes to shop at Pep Boys. Karim is an Arabic name, and they do like to pimp their rides with blingy bling.

Some people who do stupid stuff like that to a car that was never intended to be jacked up like that, should have their cars taken away and be given something else to ruin.

Wtf are they thinking? So low budget and unnecessary. It's like covering your face with dog poop just to get attention. What's that smell? Oh, it's the funny 7 with chrome around the lights, wiper fins, and curb feelers sticking out the side of the side of the fender.

It's like a woman who puts on waaaaaaaay too much makeup and perfume.

Lame.

Guess I'm on my way to Auto Zone to return the caliper covers and roll of flexy chrome.

I really love the people that hammer it in residential neighborhoods when at any time a little kid could run out in the street. Real smart Mr. Karim.

I think their website can describe it much better than I can.

My video did bring a lot of attention I see... Taking off my chrome frames today. Actually plastidipping the whole car in matte white next Monday. Also, tinting the rear lights and the grille. Karim is an Arabic name, but I am Russian if you wonder... My 0-100 time is not 100% correct, I did it going downhill, in a burnout mode (Brake + Gas >>> Release Brake >>> Slam the pedal), very similar to a launch control. About calipers, I had a choice between painting them, but I thought it would be easier to just cover them...

As soon as I saw your first post, I wondered how long it would be until you found this thread.

Don't do anything you don't want to with regards to the looks of the car. But on that note, I'm happy to hear the chrome trim is coming off.

As for the calipers, easier isn't always better. Not to mention painting them is probably cheaper than those covers.

Either way, welcome and make sure to post pics of the matte white!

+1 for pics of the paint job. If you don't mind, where are you getting it done and how much is it?

To make my car matte white, it will probably cost around $1200 which is not bad. please watch this video, it's all about plastidip. Looks amazing in my opinion. In addition, the material is very tough and durable, but also removable.

Yes, I've seen a few dipped cars and I agree, it is pretty impressive. It's a good alternative to wrapping. The only thing is that going from a dark colour to white takes 5-6 coats.

Let me know where you have it done .. thanks

What do you guys think about those designs?? Not hard to achieve, about $4500 for rims and $3500 for Asanti Grilles
