I was running in ASP early this season, but deceided to go into SM2.
I found that the Z06s that were in ASP, were kicking butt and not taking names. My 2.8L with my mods generate enough power to hang with the ol/MZ3s (240hp), but fell behind the Z06s. In SM2, which is still a new class, I am more competitive (winning & lossing) against blown and s/c Miatas, MRIIs. Have not yet come against a older vette. I should do OK. :thumb: My opinion on the non-MZ3 (240 & 313hp), they should move to BSP. Having the MZ3 (313hp), Z06s, in that class, makes it very difficult to be competitive. My Z3 would do better in BSP. Never understood why to move the S2K into BS, either. I guess no one will be happy with everything that the SCCA does.

There is presently a review taking place about that..
The 315 hp M Rdstr "may" go to AS; the 240 hp M Rdstr to BS. Even if they (SCCA) do this, it won't be until next year.
