Anyone looking for remaining 13 M3s let me know. We have 7 of the last 18 in the eastern region. It's a shame to see it go.

Nice selection. However almost all of them are over 80k. Takes a certain person to pay for a frozen edition m3.

Thanks! We've sold many of the "inexpensive" ones but believe it or not, we've delivered 3 or 4 frozen ones in the last month

Mine too. The x5m is that color combo so I got the m3 in Jerez over red/black.

Color me jealous. That's a hell of a stable. I think my wife would lose her mind in a car as big as the X5M. The 1M is more her speed

We have a 6 speed manual coupe with performance exhaust and wheel (among other upgrades) coming from the port soon. I'll put those specs up soon.

Thanks. It is an awesome stable. Wife had one of the first 135 coupes (in 6MT) to hit US shores so small rockets are her thing as well. She just decided she wanted another x5 and made the mistake of test driving the x5m. It was all downhill from there. She still steals my m3 though....

6 speed manual is sold.

Nice early adoption! I almost did a 135i for my last lease but the numbers were better for the AH3 so that's what I did

Nice to see a testimonial for Steve. He struck me as a stand up guy from day one so I see my gut instinct was true. Stay around Steve. The northeast does not have much sponsor involvement and there are a lot of festers in your region that buy from Passport just because Passport has a reputation for better deals. You may slowly win some of them over to you.

Thanks for the praise. I would have had it resolved sooner but I got caught up in a few things. Glad to be of service.

Thanks! I pride myself on being as straight forward as it gets and doing right by my clients (and even those who don't purchase from me). I like to know that they feel like I am delivering on that.

I'm always happy to take away the market share from the competition

Exactly and a ton of people willing to buy! BMWofRockville is where its at and again the only place I'll buy from (unless of course I call greg/john on the west coast).

That's great. Steve breaks the stereotype, he knows his stuff. One of the more knowledgeable sales associates you will deal with.

Caveat Emptor

I live in Potomac Md about about 20 minutes from RockvilleBMW - I buy my cars from Passport not only for their significantly better deals but also for Passport's eminently superior customer service. BTW Passport is on the other side of Washington and this trip requires me to negotiate some of the worst traffic in the USA - but guess what - it's worth it as long as I do not have to go to Rockville BMW. Rockville BMW is the successor to VOB BMW which was legendary for their abuse - not much has changed.

Most recent experience - this past January, I, along with a friend, went to Rockville to buy two cars that night - hoping things had changed for the better under the new regime. Long story short - after 45 minutes in the showroom - no one would help us - no one would even talk to us even though we were the only customers in the showroom. Out of desperation we saw a line of four/five SUVs in the back of the showroom and we decided to open every door, hatch and hood, sit in every seat, hey dudes - we want to buy a car tonight - our plea for attention was totally ignored - Sales guys just walked through us....damn, we drove to the dealership in my M3 - parked in front of the front door. I am 6'3" - 200 lbs and my friend is a very fit 6' tall - takes real effort to walk through us ....please kind sirs we respectfully beg you to take our money...

We went to Passport where the deal were done in less than 30 minutes.....

BTW on my M3 deal - Passport was better by a whopping $6000.

Capo. I don't doubt anything you say about VOB now BMW of Rockville. However, you know as well as I do that dealing with a fest sponsor, in this case Steve, can provide a completely different experience than being a walk in customer. My local dealer is the same way toward walk ins, but not to me because I work with a trusted advisor.

I firmly believe the change in M3 is an elaborate marketing plan to sell the remaining M3's. If it was so sought after then why are there any left?

All BMWS follow a 7 year life cycle. E9x M3 came out in 2008 model year. It means it's time for a new one...

Fail: sounds like marketing to me. Why 7 years?! the fact is there is no reason for it. If they wanted to, then they could decide not to change it...just as they decided to change it. Its a free world, anything is possible. Let's think outside of the box guys...

Rockville BMW is the successor to VOB BMW which was legendary for their abuse - not much has changed.

Capo,

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. I was at SS when you came in last but I can tell you since coming on board here recently, the management has been pushing to improve on areas that have been, to put it tactfully, lacking. Unfortunately, car dealers can be slow to adopt new ideas or change what they think is working. However, I wouldn't have come on board if I thought that that environment was going to be the previous perception that VOB had.

OFC, if you ever prefer to work with someone that will not waste your time nor assume your wasting their time, give me a shout. If you prefer to continue to work with your CA, do it. A good CA can be hard to come by sometimes... As sad as that is.

Hey if that's what you believe, more power to you. Personally I want a company pushing to change and innovate. The e9x was a big improvement on the e46 just as the e46 was an improvement over the e36 and the e36 over the e30. If they make the ultimate driving machine why should I be satisfied with a car that stays static? Why be like Volvo and keep making the same SC-90 for 12+ years with little change?

Do I love the e9x? Absolutely. I think it is one of the greatest "drivers" cars of all time. But, am I excited about the next M3/M4? You better believe it. If it ends up that the e9x is a better car then guess what, we'll be able to buy pre-loved versions of those driven by enthusiasts...
