Rear armrest cup holder rattle

I've had this dreaded rattle that I always though was coming from the upper deck, today I finally diagnosed it to be the cup holder section of the rear armrest. Whenever the cover for the cup holder is held down tightly (the part that swings open) the rattle disappears. The rattle can be reproduced by simply hitting the armrest in its upright locked position.

Has anyone experienced this or know a fix?

Thanks

Yeah I had that issue a few months ago. I ended up cutting small pieces of felt and stuffing them into the seams where the cup holder portion meats the armrest, 2 per side. After that no more rattles.

Hey man would it be too much of me to ask for a picture? I've been trying all day and can't seem to nail it

Sure. I'll take some pics tomorrow of where I put the felt.
